How to grant photo and camera access

The very first time you use the camera through the Inspect Point app, you will be asked to grant us access to your photos and camera. These will be in two separate pop-ups that appear on your screen and you must accept both. 

If you do not grant Inspect Point access to both, then a black or blank screen will appear when you attempt to take photos in the field. This is because we do not have access. To grant Inspect Point access, so you can take photos, please follow the steps outlined below: 

From the iPad home screen, locate and tap the Settings icon

Scroll on the left sidebar off the screen until you see Inspect Point listed

Tap Inspect Point and on the right side of the screen you will see the following information

If you see the word Never next to Photos, tap Photos and select Add Photos Only, then tap the back arrow 

You will now see, Add Photos Only, next to Photos

If the toggle next to Camara is white, tap the toggle next to Camera to turn it green

You will now see a green toggle next to Camera
