⚠️ Important
Deleting the Inspect Point mobile app is not recommended unless you have been specifically advised to do so by an Inspect Point team member.
Removing the app from your device will permanently remove locally stored inspection and work order data.
❗ What Happens When You Delete the App
When the Inspect Point mobile app is deleted:
- All started inspections and completed inspections that have not been submitted will be removed from the device. This information cannot be restored, even after reinstalling the app.
- Submitted inspections and synced data will remain stored in your organization's backend of Inspect Point.
✅ Before Deleting the App
Before proceeding, confirm that:
- All inspections and/or work oders have been submitted
- You have been instructed by Inspect Point to delete the app
If you are unsure, contact your administrator or Inspect Point Support before continuing.
🗑️ How to Delete the Inspect Point Mobile App
- Locate the Inspect Point app icon on your device's home screen
- Press and hold the app icon
- When the menu appears, select Remove App
- A confirmation message will appear
- Tap Delete App to confirm removal
🔄 Reinstalling the App
If instructed to reinstall:
- Open the App Store Store
- Search for Inspect Point
- Download and reinstall the application
- Log back in using your Inspect Point credentials
✅ Best Practice: Only delete and reinstall the mobile app when troubleshooting steps are provided by Inspect Point Support.
