Adding an Inspection Item to an Inspection in the Field

From the Inspection Listing tabs, locate the inspection and tap Inspect to begin the inspection

>>>NOTE: nothing has been sent to the iPad except for Valves in this example 

To add a:

• System
• Asset
• Fire Alarm System
• Fire Extinguisher Group
• Exit Sign/E-Light Group
• Fire Door Group
• Backflow
• Custom Inspection
• Form (California Users)

to this inspection, tap the + icon in the upper right-hand corner

>>>A dropdown will appear

Tap the item you'd like to add to the inspection

>>>In this example we are going to add an Asset in the field

A pop-up box will appear on the screen

In the Select Type field, tap Choose Type

>>>A drop-down of your options will appear

Select the Asset type from the drop-down

>>>The Asset type will now appear in the Type field

Tap into the Name field and name give the Asset a name (Required for every inspection item type)

If barcoding, tap Scan, then scan the barcode using the iPad camera or SocketMobile device

Tap Save in the upper right of the pop-up to add the Asset

>>>You will be redirected back to the Inspection Screen where you will see the Asset added to the inspection

Repeat this process if necessary to add additional inspection items
