Proposal Settings Overview
The Proposals section in your Settings allows you to manage both the behavior of proposals and the configurable details used in them. These tools help standardize your process while allowing flexibility on individual proposals.
Proposal Settings (Defaults for All Proposals)
The first option — Proposal Settings — contains default behaviors that apply to every proposal you create. These settings control how proposals behave and what they show by default.
Settings such as disabling the ability to edit accepted proposals, and configuring quantity and pricing totals can be enabled/disabled here.
Note: These settings are not permanent. You can override them while creating a proposal. For example, if quantities are shown by default, you can uncheck that box for one-off proposals.

Proposal Details
Below the default proposal settings, you'll find options for Exclusions, Scope of Work, Summaries, and Terms & Conditions. These sections allow you to create reusable text blocks — or "details" — that can be selected from a dropdown when building a proposal.
When you're creating a proposal, you'll be able to select from the pre-built entries added in the settings. Additionally, you can also add new details while creating a proposal and save them directly to your list for future use.
Proposal Details Explained:
- Exclusions: Items not covered in the proposal (e.g., "Labor beyond 4 hours is not included")
- Scope of Work: Describes the services to be provided
- Summary: High-level overview of the job or quote
- Terms & Conditions: Legal or payment-related language
