Proposal reminders help you automate follow-ups on proposals that have been sent to customers but remain unaccepted. Instead of manually following up, Inspect Point’s reminder feature can send automatic follow-up emails at intervals you choose.
How Proposal Reminders Work
When a proposal is emailed to a customer, its status updates to Out for Quote. Once the customer views the proposal, the status changes to Viewed.
Proposal reminders target proposals in either of these two statuses:
- Out for Quote
- Viewed
When enabled, Inspect Point will automatically send follow-up reminder emails to customers with proposals that qualify, based on your chosen settings.
🔧 You can adjust global reminder settings on the Proposal Reminders page under Settings.
📝 You can also override these settings on individual proposals.
Reminders are sent at 11:00 AM ET on the selected interval

How to Override Reminders on a Specific Proposal
Reminders can be disabled on an individual proposal. This can be done when creating a new proposal, or editing an existing one. To override global settings for an individual proposal:
- Create a new proposal, or click Edit
- Check Disable Reminders to turn them off entirely
- Or, enter a custom resend interval and maximum number of reminders to override the defaults
This is useful if a specific proposal requires more or less follow-up than usual.
