🗂️ Proposal Types
Proposal Types allow you to categorize proposals for easier filtering and reporting.
Inspect Point does not come preloaded with any proposal types — these must be created in your Settings before they can be applied. While assigning a type is optional, it helps organize and analyze proposal activity more efficiently.
⚙️ Creating Proposal Types
- Go to Settings → Proposals → Proposal
- Click + New Proposal Type
- Enter a name for your proposal type
- Click Save
You can keep your list simple or get as granular as you’d like — for example:
- Inspection Agreement
- Deficiency Quote
- Monitoring
- Service Work
📝 Applying a Proposal Type
When creating or editing a proposal, you’ll see a Proposal Type dropdown on the first page.
Click the dropdown and select the applicable type from your existing list.
⚠️ You’ll only see proposal types that have already been set up in your settings — new types cannot be added from this screen. To add more, return to Settings → Proposal Types.
