Proposal statuses in Inspect Point help you track the progress of proposals from creation to customer decision. Some statuses are automatically applied by the system, while others can be updated manually if needed. This article explains the default statuses and how they work.
What are the Proposal Statuses?
Inspect Point comes preloaded with the following statuses:
- Draft - Automatically applied when a proposal is created but not yet sent.
- Out for Quote - Automatically applied when a proposal is sent to your customer.
- Viewed - Automatically applied when your customer clicks the proposal link in the email.
- Accepted - Automatically applied when your customer clicks Accept on the proposal and enters their name.
- Declined - Automatically applied when your customer clicks Decline on the proposal, provides their name, and adds a reason.
Custom Proposal Statuses
In Inspect Point, administrators can create additional proposal statuses to better track proposals through your organization’s workflow.
