How to link a deficiency to an existing deficiency on the mobile app

If a deficiency is still open during an inspection, a red triangle with a white exclamation point will appear next to the question as a visual cue to the technician

***PLEASE NOTE: The answer set to your systems setup. If the question is deficient again, the technician must still click NO to flag and link

If the question is still deficient, tap NO then tap Details 

***The light red deficiency highlight will appear as normal

>>> You will now see the Details pop-up

To link the deficiency to an existing deficiency, scroll to the DEFICIENCY section and Tap Link Existing Deficiency 

>>>You will now see the Past Deficiencies pop-up with the question and original open date listed

Tap to the right of the question until a blue check mark appears and tap Save

>>>You will now be redirected to the Details pop-up 

If previous Notes and Internal Notes were added they will appear in the Notes and Internal Notes boxes

If a Deficiency Status and Resolution Status exist already, they will appear in the Deficiency area

If the status are blank, you can add one or the other

When finished, tap Save in the upper right of the pop-up screen

Proceed with the inspection
