Each scheduling option outlined below gives you the flexibility to develop a process that works best for you when scheduling inspections:
- From the Inspections tab
- From the Calendar screen
- From the Building
>>> PLEASE NOTE: Only inspections in the scheduled status appear on the iPad
Option 1: Scheduling from the Inspections Tab
To move an inspection from "Pending" to "Scheduled", navigate to the "Inspections" tab located on the left sidebar
Locate the "Filter by Status" dropdown located above the inspection list
From the drop-down select "Pending"
>>> The listing screen will adjust to display a full list of all inspections currently in the "Pending" status
Click the "Id" number of the inspection you'd like to schedule
>>> You will now see the Inspection Detail screen
Click Edit Inspection in the upper corner
>>> You will now see the Edit Inspection screen
- Set the inspection date and time by clicking into the date and time fields
- Add a reference number (if applicable)
- Confirm the inspection frequency is set, and required inspection items have been checked
- Assign the inspection to a tech (if not set at the building level)
Click Update when done
>>> You will be redirected back to the Inspection Detail screen
Click the drop-down arrow in the Inspection Status section, and select "Scheduled"
Click Update
Option 2: Scheduling from the Calendar screen
From the Dashboard, click the Calendar tab on the left sidebar
>>> You will now see the calendar screen. Refer here for information about what you can see and do via the Calendar screen
Locate the inspection you'd like to schedule (note: it will be the Light Blue color because it's in the Pending status)
Click the inspection and drag it to the day the inspection will take place
>>> You will now see the Inspection Detail screen
Click Edit Inspection in the upper corner
>>> You will now see the Edit Inspection screen
- Set the inspection date and time by clicking into the date and time fields
- Add a reference number (if applicable)
- Confirm the inspection frequency is set, and required inspection items have been checked
- Assign the inspection to a tech (if not set at the building level)
Click Update when done
>>> You will be redirected back to the Inspection Detail screen
Click the drop-down arrow in the Inspection Status section, and select "Scheduled"
Click Update
Repeat this process for each inspection being scheduled for a specific date and time
Option 3: Scheduling from the Building
From the Dashboard, click the Buildings tab on the left sidebar
>>> You now see the Building Listing screen
Search for the building you'd like to schedule and click the Building name
>>> You will now see the Building Detail screen
Click the Inspections tab on the building
Click +New Inspection
Click One Time inspection
- Set the inspection date and time by clicking into the date and time fields
- Add a reference number (if applicable)
- Confirm the inspection frequency is set, and systems/assets have been checked
- Assign the inspection to a tech (if not set at the building level)
- Check the items that will be inspected
Click Update when done
>>> You will be redirected back to the Inspection Detail screen where you will see the inspection already in the Scheduled status
