In order for an inspection to get to a technician in the field, the inspection must be in the Scheduled status, the Scheduled Date needs to be within 2 weeks, and a technician must be selected. The scheduling options outlined below give you the flexibility to develop a workflow that fits your needs:
- From the Inspection Detail Screen
- From the Inspections tab
- From the Scheduler
Scheduling from the Inspection Detail Screen
Click the Inspection Status dropdown on the Inspection Detail Screen
Choose the Scheduled option from the list of statuses, then Update
If your inspection is part of an Inspection Series, you will be presented the following options, select one and Update
***Notes:
- The first option only schedules the individual inspection
- The second option changes all of the inspections within that series that have the same frequency to Scheduled
- The third option changes all of the inspections within the series to Scheduled
- Typically the first option is the one used when scheduling
A green success-bar will appear indicating the inspection has been Scheduled
Scheduling from the Inspections tab
From the Inspections tab on the left sidebar, use the filtering options to sort the inspections
In this example, we'll filter by Status and Scheduled Date
Select the checkbox to the left of the inspection(s) you wish to schedule, followed by Update Status
***Note:
- If you'd like to move all the inspections that fall within the filtered search to Scheduled, select the checkbox in the upper-right to select all
A pop-up will appear that shows the list of inspection statuses
Select Scheduled then Update
The inspections selected will now be in the Scheduled status
Scheduling from Scheduler
From the Scheduler tab, use the filtering options to sort through the inspections - In this example, we'll filter by the month of April 2022
***Note:
- By default, the Scheduler will show inspections that are Pending and Unassigned
Hover over the inspection to highlight it blue. Drag the inspection down below to the technician and time the inspection should be scheduled for
***Notes:
- This moved the inspection from Pending to Scheduled
- By default, you will be scheduling inspections for whatever day it is. If you need to schedule for a different date, select the new date from the corresponding field
You will now see the inspection scheduled at the desired date and time
***If you do not see the Scheduler option, please contact your Customer Success Manager or product support.
