The Inspection Detail Screen is where you can view and manage all information related to an inspection. From here, you can update inspection details, review and adjust answers, manage technician assignments, generate reports, and access the full inspection timeline.

🔎 What Is the Inspection Detail Screen?
The Inspection Detail Screen displays the complete overview of an inspection. This is where you can:
- View and edit inspection details
- Review and revise inspection answers
- Assign or reassign a technician
- Generate inspection reports
- Convert an inspection into a proposal, work order, or invoice
- View photos, activity, and the inspection audit timeline
📍 How to Access the Inspection Detail Screen
You can reach the Inspection Detail Screen from several places in the backend:
- Building → Inspections tab → click the Inspection ID
- Inspections tab → apply filters if needed → click the Inspection ID
- Calendar / Schedule or Dispatch → click the visit → click Details
- Inspection Reports tab → click the date under the Inspection Date column
- Anywhere you see an Inspection IDÂ
If you can see the Inspection ID, you can access the Inspection Detail Screen.
đź“‹ What You Will See on This Screen
The options available on the Inspection Detail Screen depend on:
- Your account subscriptionÂ
- Enabled modules
- The inspection’s current status
Tabs at the top of the page:Â
- DetailsÂ
- Activity
- PhotosÂ
- Inspection Assistant (if enabled)Â
Details tab:Â
- Inspection details — status, technician, visit information
- Report generation options
- + Create dropdown to convert to a proposal, work order, or invoice
- Internal notes, technician instructions, recommendations
- Inspection attachments
Activity tab:Â
- A detailed timeline of the inspection including,Â
- System updates by the backend or technician
- NotesÂ
- Status changesÂ
- Notes left here are not customer-facing
Photos:Â
- Displays all of the photos along with the specific details  that were taken during the inspection, including any internal photosÂ
🔄 Actions by Inspection Status
Pending / Scheduled
When an inspection has not yet started, you can:
- Update the assigned technician
- Change the inspection status
- Edit inspection details such as technician instructions
- Add or adjust visit information
Started
Once the technician has started the inspection in the field, backend changes will not push to the device.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Technicians must make changes through the mobile app while the inspection is in progress.
You can still:
- See that the inspection has started
- Monitor progress or time entriesÂ
Waiting Review
Once submitted back from the field, you can fully review the inspection.
- Review all questions and answers
- Make adjustments or corrections
- Update inspection details
- Generate or regenerate reports
⚠️ IMPORTANT: If any changes are made to the inspection—whether through a technician resubmission or edits in the backend—you must regenerate the report to ensure those updates are reflected.
đź§° Additional Actions (Depending on Subscription)
You may see options to convert the inspection into:
- Proposal
- Work Order
- Invoice
These options only appear if the corresponding modules are enabled in your account.
