Inviting a new user to the backend of Inspect Point is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to grant access to your team members.
Steps to Invite a New Backend User

Navigate to the Backend Settings
- Select Backend Users under the User Management section.

Click “+ New User”
- You’ll see a list of existing backend users. To add a new one, click the + New User button.

Fill Out the New User Details
- Enter the user’s email address (this is the only required field).
- Optionally, complete the remaining user detail fields.
- Select a Role from the dropdown.

Select Role Type
- Choose a role that matches the user’s responsibilities. Role selection defines what areas of the backend the user can access or modify. For users involved in backend setup, scheduling, or deficiency management, we recommend selecting the Admin role.

Click “Create & Invite”
- Once all fields are completed, click Create & Invite.
- The user will be sent an email with a link to create and confirm their password.
- If the invite link expires, you can re-send the invitation from the Backend Users screen.
What Happens Next?
The invited user receives an email invitation which includes a secure link to create their password. Once completed, they’ll have access based on the role you assigned.
