When a technician is no longer active in your organization, you can mark them Inactive from the backend. This allows you to maintain historical data tied to their inspections without permanently removing their profile.
Steps to Mark a Technician Inactive
- Navigate to Settings > User Management > Technicians
- You'll see a list of all active technicians
- Click the username of the technician you wish to inactivate
- At the top of the Technician Detail screen, click Mark Inactive
- A confirmation pop-up will appear:
“Are you sure you want to mark this technician inactive? This cannot be undone!” - Click OK to confirm
-
The technician is now marked Inactive and will no longer appear in scheduling or inspection assignments
Important
- Once a technician is marked Inactive, backend users cannot reactivate them
