Technician "Office View" Functionality

By default, a technician added to Inspect Point has access to the Inspect Point iOS mobile application.

However, you can also create an “Office View” user profile for technicians, or enable this permission on an existing profile, so that they can quickly jump from the mobile application into the Office View. 

Here, they can take actions such as creating, sending or collecting on an invoice, or generating an inspection report.

First, create a user profile for them by clicking Settings → Users → Back-end Users.

Then, navigate to their technician profile and enable the following permission:

When this is checked, it will create an “Office View” link that will show on the building screen on their mobile app:

Clicking “Office View” will open a login screen where they can log-in with the credentials of the back-end user you created for them.
Once logged in, they will remain logged in, so when they click “Office View” in the future, they will automatically be taken to the inspection screen of the given inspection.

Here, they can click to generate an invoice, an inspection, or any other functionality available to back-end users.
