Applies to: Proposals
Once a proposal has been created, you can return to it at any time to update proposal details, fees, the status, photos, attachments, and other information before saving your changes.
When editing an existing proposal, completed steps in the proposal editor are clickable, allowing you to jump directly to a previous section without moving backward through each step of the proposal wizard.
✏️ Edit a Proposal
Step 1 — Open Proposals
From the navigation menu, select Proposals to open the Proposals listing screen.
Step 2 — Open the proposal for editing
There are two ways to edit an existing proposal:
- Select the Proposal # to open the proposal, then select Edit.
- Locate the proposal in the listing screen, open the Actions menu, and select Edit.
Step 3 — Navigate the proposal editor
The proposal editor is organized into the following steps:
- Proposal Settings
- Fee Summary
- Proposal Details
- Photos
- Attachments
- Preview
💡 Tip: You do not need to move backward through each step of the proposal wizard to update information in an earlier section. Use the step navigation at the top of the screen to quickly move between completed sections.
Step 4 — Make your changes
Update the proposal information as needed. You can move between completed sections to review or adjust additional information before finishing.
Step 5 — Save your changes
Once your updates are complete, select Save to apply the changes to the proposal.
