⚙️ Advanced Settings
Each AI Inspection Assistant issue type includes its own Advanced Settings, allowing admins to fine-tune how issues are flagged and prioritized.
When you select an issue type from the General tab, the Advanced Settings panel appears at the bottom of the page with configuration options specific to that issue type.

🔧 How Advanced Settings Work
- All five issue types are listed in the Advanced Settings menu
- Disabled issue types appear grayed out and cannot be edited
- A tooltip explains why the settings are unavailable
- Click any enabled issue type to view and manage its advanced options
- Changes are saved automatically as they are made
✍️ Grammar and Style
These settings control how written inspection content is evaluated for clarity and professionalism.
Include in High Impact Issues
- When enabled, grammar and style issues are treated as high priority
- High-impact issues appear more prominently during inspection review
Term Management
Tabs: Excluded Terms | Included Terms
Use term management to control how Inspection Assistant evaluates industry-specific language.

Excluded Terms
- Words or abbreviations that should not be flagged
- Commonly used for internal or company-specific terminology
- Example:

Included Terms
- Words or abbreviations that should always be checked
- Useful for enforcing consistent terminology or documentation standards
Adding Terms or Abbreviations
Users can add terms or abbreviated to both the Excluded and Included Terms lists. To do so:
- Select + Add Term or Abbreviation
- Enter the term
- Click Add Term or Abbreviation
Terms can be viewed or deleted at any time.
📋 Missing Information
These settings control checks for incomplete documentation or missing required data.

- Marks missing information issues as high priority when enabled
Overall Inspection

- Flags inspections that are missing required signatures

Deficiencies

Deficiency Photo
- Flags deficiencies that do not include photos
- When enabled, an Asset Exclusions section appears:
- Add specific asset types that do not require photos
- Managed through an Add Assets button and exclusion table

Deficiency Notes
- Flags deficiencies without written documentation
- When enabled, a Flag Internal Notes toggle appears:
- Controls whether internal-only notes are also evaluated
- Default is OFF (only customer-visible notes are required)
Code Reference Requirements (ULC Customers Only)

- Flags deficiencies without required regulatory code citations
- This section only appears for Canadian customers using ULC standards

These settings focus on accuracy and compliance.

- Marks correction-related issues as high priority
Incorrect Reference Clause
- Flags invalid or incorrect code reference clauses
- Helps identify compliance issues before reports are finalized
❓ Unanswered Questions
These settings control how unanswered inspection questions are handled.
Include in High Impact Issues
- Marks unanswered questions as high priority
Asset Exclusions
- Add asset types where unanswered questions should be ignored
- Useful for devices where certain questions are optional based on workflow
- Example: Exclude "Valve" if unanswered valve questions are acceptable in your workflow
- Managed through an + Add Assets button
🏢 Office Only
These settings apply to office-level review and resolution behavior.
Auto-Resolve Unresolved Deficiencies
- Automatically resolves deficiencies from prior inspections
- When enabled: If a device passes inspection, previous unresolved deficiencies for that device are automatically closed
