The AI Inspection Assistant helps identify potential issues during inspections, such as missing information, unclear language, code compliance concerns, and historical discrepancies—so technicians can address problems in the field with confidence.
Before the AI can be used, it must first be enabled by an admin user.
🔑 Prerequisites
- AI Inspection Assistant must be turned on for your instance by a member of the Inspect Point team
- You must be logged in as an admin user
⚠️ Important: If AI Inspection Assistant is not enabled for your instance, the setting will not be available. Please contact your Customer Success Manager to request access or schedule a demo.
⚙️ AI Settings
Once the AI Inspection Assistant has been enabled, you will now see an Artificial Intelligence section in your backend settings.
Backend Settings → Artificial Intelligence → AI Inspection Assistant Settings
✅ Enable the Feature
On the AI Inspection Assistant Settings page:
From here, click the toggle to enable the feature. Doing so will reveal the available configuration options.
📌 What Happens Next?
After enabling the AI Inspection Assistant, admin users can:
- Choose which inspection issues the AI should flag
- Select the technicians the AI is available for
These settings control how the AI reviews completed inspections, what feedback is given, and which technicians the AI is active for.
