In Inspect Point, administrators can create additional proposal statuses to better track proposals through your organization’s workflow.
Who Can Create Proposal Statuses
- Admins can create new statuses.
- If your account has the setting Limit configuration to admin role, only Admin users will have access to this feature.
Steps to Create a Proposal Status

Go to Settings
- From the backend, navigate to Settings.

Open Proposal Status Settings

In the Proposals category, select Proposal Statuses.

Add a New Status
- Click +Add Status.
- Enter the Status Name (e.g., “Pending Review”).
- Choose a Display Order if needed.

Add a description if you’d like additional context for your team.

Save
- Click Save to apply the new status.
- The status will now be available to select when editing or updating proposals
Tips for Creating Statuses
- Use clear and concise names so your team understands the status at a glance.
- Consider aligning custom statuses with your sales or approval process.
- Use the Filter by Status option on the Proposals tab for easy navigating.
