The Company Settings page is where account information like address, default report email templates, and default proposal summaries are set.
To Setup / Edit Company Settings
From the Settings menu on the left sidebar, select Company Settings
Here is where you can add or edit any company information, such as address and phone number, and upload your logo. Here is where you can set your default tax percent, too. For information on how tax rates work, click here.
For your Company Logo, please upload a 300px x 300px image as a .png file.
Note: For ULC, please upload a 300px x 150px image as a .png file
You may also set a number of default messages in your Company Settings including, default visit notes, proposal summaries, and proposal scope of work.
Default visit notes will appear on the iPad for the technician. The tech must submit a note from the iPad for it to end up on the report.
Default email templates are also set in your Company Settings. Here you can set email templates for reports, the customer portal, and proposals.
Note: If you want to insert a building name, a report link or a frequency in the email text, please use the interpolation:
{{ building_name }}, {{ report_link }} or {{ frequency }}
The last options you have in your Company Settings are your California Form Headers (if applicable) and whether or not to display the Helpful Contacts & Resources Dashboard.
These headers appear on all California reports. Check off the SFM (State Fire Marshall) and/or CSLB (California Contractor's State License Board) boxes to include this information on reports.
The Helpful Contacts & Resources Dashboard appears on the right side of home screen. It displays helpful links like Product Support, Documentation, and Inspect Point Training.
To save any changes you make to your Company Settings, scroll to the bottom and click "Update."
