Once you’ve create a building and added any details, it’s time to create an inspection series and schedule
How to create an inspection series with AES forms
- From the Inspections tab, select the + New Inspection option
- Select the building you want to create the inspection series for, then select Repeat
- Change the end date if applicable, fIll in any of the detail fields, such as reference number, select the technician, add AES forms via the External Forms dropdown as needed, then click Next
- Select the frequency - Note, you can select more than one frequency, let’s say you perform this inspection quarterly and annually, you’d select both the options
- Chose the month the inspection will be performed > Next
- Preview the inspection series, and click Create Inspections
Create an Inspection Series
- From the Inspections tab, select the + New Inspection option
- Select the building you want to create the inspection series for, then select Repeat
- Change the end date if applicable, fIll in any of the detail fields, such as reference number, select the technician, check the checkboxes on the items that will be on the inspection, then click Next
- Select the frequency - Note, you can select more than one frequency, let’s say you perform this inspection quarterly and annually, you’d select both the options
- Chose the month the inspection will be performed > Next
- Preview the inspection series, and click Create Inspections
Scheduling - Once a series is created, all of the inspections within that series will be in the Pending status. In order to get an inspection to a technician in the field, the inspection must be in the Scheduled status, a technician must be selected, and the Scheduled date needs to be within 14 days. If the inspection meets all three requirements, the scheduled technician will see the inspection on their device.
