Linking Buildings to TCE Premises

🔗 Overview

Link a building in Inspect Point to its corresponding premise in The Compliance Engine (TCE). Once linked, inspection reports for that building can be submitted to TCE through Inspect Point.

🏢 Link a Building to a TCE Premise

Step 1 — Open the building

Navigate to the building in Inspect Point that you want to link.

Step 2 — Select Link TCE Premise

From the Info tab on the Building Detail Screen, locate the TCE Status section and select Link TCE Premise.

Step 3 — Search for the TCE premise

Search for the corresponding premise using at least one of the following:

• Name
• Address
• Reference Number

Tip: Searching by the Reference Number assigned in TCE is typically the quickest way to locate the correct premise.

Step 4 — Link the premise

Locate the correct premise in the search results and select Link under Actions.

The Inspect Point building is now linked to the selected TCE premise.

🔎 Filter for TCE-Linked Buildings

You can filter the Buildings list to view buildings that are linked to TCE.

1. Go to the Buildings Listing screen.
2. Select the Filter icon.
3. Select Compliance Platform from the available filters to add it to the filter panel.
4. Set the Compliance Platform filter to TCE.

The Buildings list will update to show buildings linked to TCE.
