đź”— Linking TechniciansÂ
Once the Simpro integration is enabled and setup is complet, each technician in Inspect Point must be linked to their corresponding Simpro Employee ID. This ensures inspections, jobs, and updates flow correctly between both systems.
⚙️ How to Link Technicians
- From your Inspect Point backend, go to Settings → User Management → Technicians.
- Click on the technician’s username to open their profile.
- Scroll down to the External ID field.
- Enter the technician’s Simpro Employee ID.

Click Update to save your changes.
Repeat these steps for each technician that performs inspections synced from Simpro.
đź§© Important Notes
- The Simpro Employee ID must match the External ID in Inspect Point exactly.
- If a technician isn’t configured correctly, an error will appear in the Job Timeline when syncing jobs.
- The first technician listed in Simpro becomes the Assigned Technician in Inspect Point for the job.
