In the backend of Inspect Point, you can create Work Orders in three ways:
1. From the Work Orders tab on the Navigation bar, select the Add New Work Order option in the upper-right
2. Convert from a Proposal by selecting the proposal ID. Then select Work Order from the + Create dropdown in the upper left
3. Convert from an Inspection. From the Inspection Detail Screen, select the + Create dropdown, then Work Order.
Once you've selected the new work order, begin adding any applicable details such as type, service description, and visit details.
You can create the work order now, or you can continue to the next step to add/review more information.
To continue, click Next which will bring you to page 2, Associations. The only time items will be checked on this page is if the work order was converted from an inspection or a proposal that was converted from an inspection. Do not select anything on this page; simply go to the next page.
Page 3 is the Fee Summary page. Here you can add materials, services, and line items. Anything added here will be available for the technician to see in the field, pricing visibility is dependent upon your instances' setup. Additionally, if this work order was converted from a proposal, anything on the Fee Summary page of said proposal would copy to this work order.
When done, or if not applicable, click Next.
Page 4 is where you can add any unresolved deficiencies (not required), these will appear on the Work Order where the technician(s) can resolve. If this work order was converted from a proposal, any linked deficiencies would already show here.
When done, click Create Now.
If the visit was scheduled and assigned on page 1, the technician will see it on their application as usual.
If the visit needs to be scheduled, you can do so via the Schedule & Dispatch tab on the navigation bar.
