🗂️ Work Order Types
Work Order Types help categorize your service work for easier filtering and reporting. Examples include Quoted Repair Work, Deficiency Corrections, or Emergency Calls.
By default, your instance comes preloaded with two Work Order Types:
Standard Service and Emergency.
➕ To Create a New Work Order Type
- Go to Settings → Service → Work Order Types
- Click + New Work Order Type
- Enter a Name and Description (both are required)
- Click Save
✏️ To Edit or Delete a Work Order Type
Go to Settings → Service → Work Order Types
To Edit:
- Click the ID number of the type
- Select Edit in the upper right
- Update the Name and/or Description, then click Update
To Delete:
- Click the ID number of the type
- Select Delete in the upper right
- Confirm the deletion
- Click Update
🧭 Using Work Order Types
Once created, you can select a Work Order Type when creating or editing a Work Order.
This allows your team to easily filter and track on specific categories of service work.
