Alarm Device Catalogs are a way of grouping like device types together. An advantage of these groups is that information like Manufacturer, Model, Sensitivity Range, and Sensitivity Test Method will pre-fill on the iPad when you add a device.
Alarm Device Catalogs are available for ULC and NFPA. For ULC, Sensitivity Test Method and Range will appear. For NFPA Sensitivity Range is replaced with Factory Settings. Both ULC and NFPA will display Manufacturer and Model.
How to Import an Alarm Device Catalog
First, travel to the Settings tab on the left, then scroll to the bottom to find the "Fire Alarms" section.
Once in the Alarm Device Catalog screen, click the button at the top titled "Import."
You will then be prompted to choose a file for import.
Once you've imported your CSV successfully, you'll see a green header saying "Alarm Device Catalogs Imported."
