Mobile App Introduction
This guide will introduce the mobile app and walk through the key steps to get started in the field.
Important Information:
- Inspections and work orders can be completed offline. However, a connection to data or Wi-Fi is required to log in, sync or create new jobs on your device, access the technician portal, and submit work to the backend.
- We do not recommend deleting the mobile application unless Inspect Point advises you to do so. Inspections and service visits live on the device they were started on. This means that any information that hasn't been saved or submitted to the backend cannot be retrieved if the app is deleted.
- We regularly update the Inspect Point app to include product enhancements, new features, and bug fixes.
-
You may notice features or functionality in our videos that don’t appear in your version of the app. Each account is set up based on a specific subscription and information provided to Inspect Point by an administrator at your organization. If you feel something is missing, your administrator can reach out to Inspect Point, and we can make the adjustment.
