Can we import our buildings into Inspect Point?

The following information can be imported into your instance of Inspect Point so long as the data is in our format (template below): Buildings / Accounts / Contacts 

If there is an Account and/or Contact that is the same across multiple buildings, you want to make sure that that information matches in each corresponding row.

Example: BILLS is the account management company, and Sean McDermott is my contact on all sites under said company. When filling in the template, the information in the Account and Contacts columns should match at each corresponding row. In the screenshot below, columns T-W and AI-AL are the same for each row, but the building information is still listed. This will ensure the three individual buildings are imported with the same Account and Contact(s).

Notes:

• The data must be in our format, please do not add, remove, or change the order of the columns otherwise the data will not map properly into your instance, and it will be sent back.
• The only column required is Building Name, feel free to leave any columns you do not need/use blank.
• If no tax rate is set at the Account or Building level, it will default to the rate set in your Company Settings. To learn more about setting your tax rates, click here.
