🧰 Deficiencies Listing Screen Overview
The Deficiencies Listing Screen, accessed from the Deficiencies tab in the navigation bar, is where you can locate and manage deficiencies within Inspect Point.
This screen provides a centralized view of all deficiencies across your inspections, allowing you to review, filter, update, and take action without jumping between multiple reports.
Note: By default, this view includes both resolved and unresolved deficiencies.
By bringing all relevant data into one place, your team can:
- Identify recurring issues quickly
- Make faster service and sales decisions
- Reduce time spent navigating between screens
🔍 Filters
The Deficiencies Listing screen includes filtering options to help you quickly find exactly what you're looking for.
Available Filters
- Resolved?
- Date Opened
- Last Reported On
- Building
- Account
- Assets
- Resolution Status
- Deficiency Status
- Reported By
- Sales Person
- Inspection ID
- Territory
Key Behavior
- Sticky Filters - Your selections will remain applied even if you leave the page and return later
- Click Reset to clear all filters and return to the full list
- Click the Filter icon to view and manage available filters
📊 Deficiency Table
The table displays all deficiencies matching your selected filters. You can fully customize which columns appear.
Configure Columns
- Click the vertical ellipses (⋮) in the table header
- Check or uncheck fields
- Click Apply
Your configuration will persist until you change it again.

| Deficiency # | Unique identifier for each deficiency |
| Inspection | Inspection ID where the deficiency was found |
| Inspection Date | Date the inspection was performed |
| Building | Building associated with the deficiency |
| Date Opened | When the deficiency was first logged |
| Last Reported On | Most recent inspection where the deficiency appeared |
| Resolved? | Indicates whether the deficiency is resolved or still open |
| System/Asset | System, asset, or equipment tied to the deficiency |
| Details | Full context including system, question, location, make/model, etc. |
| Deficiency Status | Workflow status of the deficiency |
| Resolution Status | Current resolution state (e.g., New, Fixed, Quote Accepted) |
| Resolution Notes | Notes added during resolution |
| Notes | Notes added when the deficiency was originally flagged |
| Internal Notes | Internal-only notes |
| Resolved By | User or technician who resolved the deficiency |
| # of Photos | Number of photos attached |
| Actions | Available actions (Edit, Resolve, Delete) |
✏️ Bulk Update Deficiencies
You can update multiple deficiencies at once directly from this screen. This allows users to resolve and update resolution details for more than one deficiency at a time.
How to Update:
- Apply any desired filters to the Deficiencies Listing Screen
- Use the checkboxes on the left to select deficiencies
- Click Update above the table
- In the modal, update any of the following:
- Resolved status
- Resolution status
- Deficiency status
- Resolution notes
- Click Update to apply changes
📤 Export Deficiencies
You can export your deficiency list at any time.
How to Export:
- Apply any desired filters to the Deficiencies Listing Screen
- The export will include only the deficiencies within your current selection and filters
- Use the checkboxes on the left to select the deficiencies
- Click Export CSV
- Your screen will automatically refresh displaying a confirmation message indicating your export request has been received
- Once the export is complete, you'll receive an email containing a link to download the CSV file
