All updates are saved automatically, making it easy to manage deficiencies efficiently in real time.
Note: This screen supports inline editing, allowing users to quickly update key fields without navigating away.
📋 Details Tab
The Details tab provides a comprehensive view of the deficiency, organized into clear sections including general information, key dates, notes, and system/asset details. This layout makes it easy to quickly understand what was flagged, where it occurred, and the full context behind the deficiency.
🏢 General Information

- Address - Building address
- Date Opened - Date the deficiency was first opened
- Last Reported On - The most recent date the deficiency was linked
- Internal Notes - Internal only

Fields Include:
- System / Asset Type
- Group Name
- Location
- Manufacturer
- Type / Size / Weight
🕒 Activity Tab
The Activity tab gives a complete audit trail, providing a comprehensive and easily readable history of actions taken related to a deficiency.
The information here is presented in a timeline view, with the most recent activity at the top. Users can adjust this by selecting the Ordered by option on the right, then select Oldest → Newest.
Each activity entry captures important details to provide full visibility into how the deficiency has evolved over time, including creation details, inspection context (such as building, question, and answer), status updates (e.g., “Resolution Status changed to Fixed”), and any technician updates or edits.
There are two viewing options:
- Expand All – Full detail for each event
- Collapse All – Summary view
You can adjust your view at any time using the Show Details option on the right side of the page.
📸 Photos Tab
The Photos tab displays all images associated with the deficiency, providing helpful visual context. You can upload photos by clicking to upload or dragging and dropping files (JPG, PNG, and GIF formats supported, up to 5 MB each).
Each photo includes a thumbnail preview, description (linked to the related inspection/answer), date and time captured, and an option to delete. Clicking on a photo opens an enlarged view where you can edit the description, mark the image as internal-only, navigate between photos, or delete it.
When deleting a photo, a confirmation message will appear to prevent accidental removal. Once confirmed, the photo is immediately removed and a success message is displayed.
