Each backend user can have their own default timezone, which controls how visits are scheduled and how calendars are displayed for that user.
By default, all backend users inherit the company’s default timezone. This can be overridden on a per-user basis if needed.

Why Set a User Default Timezone?
Setting a default timezone for a backend user is helpful when:
- A user regularly schedules visits for a specific region
- Dispatchers or admins work in a different timezone than the company default
- Teams span multiple offices or geographic areas
This ensures scheduling and calendar views align with how that user works day to day.
🛠️ How to Set a Default Timezone for a Backend User
To set or update a backend user’s default timezone:
- Go to Backend → Settings → User Management
- Select Backend Users
- Click the user’s email address to open their profile
- Locate the Timezone dropdown
- Select the desired default timezone
- Click Update to save
📝 Important Notes
- If no timezone is selected for a backend user, they will use the company default timezone
- Changing a user’s default timezone:
- Affects how they view calendars and dispatch
- Sets the default timezone when they schedule new visits
- This does not change existing scheduled visits
