Some inspection report types include hard-coded attribute columns like height, make, model, size, and style. These fields cannot be configured or hidden from Settings — users do not have the ability to choose which columns appear.
When all columns are present, longer values such as barcode numbers may wrap within their cell.
Why We Do Not Force No-Wrap
Forcing a column to not wrap shifts the overflow to other columns, causing wrapping elsewhere. It does not solve the underlying problem.
Recommended Solution
Remove columns that are not needed for the customer workflow. Fewer columns means more horizontal space, which resolves wrapping naturally. The support team can remove specific columns on behalf of the customer.
Common candidates for removal: Height, Make, Model, Size, Style.
How to Remove a Column
1. Go to the inspection detail screen. 2. Click the blue # of Answers link. 3. Find the field, click its question ID, then select Remove from Report. 4. Regenerate the report.
Note: Users cannot remove hard-coded attribute fields themselves. This must be done by a support team member.
When to Escalate to L3
If the customer requires all columns and wrapping persists after removing non-essential ones, escalate to Engineering for further investigation.
