When Multi-Timezone Management is enabled for your account, Inspect Point automatically assigns a timezone to all existing buildings based on their location.
This ensures that every building has a defined timezone and that visits are scheduled using the building’s local time going forward.
đź”— Feature Overview: Multi-Timezone Management
⏰ How Building Timezones Work
Each building is assigned a timezone automatically
When editing a building, the assigned timezone is displayed on the building record
-
If the building’s address is updated and the new address falls in a different timezone:
The timezone will automatically update when the building is saved
The building’s timezone becomes the default timezone used when scheduling visits for that location. If the building doesn’t have a timezone set (bad address, etc.) it will fall back to the tenant’s default timezone.Â
⚠️ ImportantÂ
Using building-based timezone helps ensure that:
Visits are scheduled in the correct local time
Office staff don’t need to calculate time differences
Scheduling stays consistent across regions and teams
Once enabled, building timezones work quietly in the background to keep scheduling accurate and aligned.
