In this guide, you’ll learn how the AI Inspection Assistant works for the technicians using the mobile application, the types of issues it looks for, and how to review and resolve them as part of the updated submission workflow.
The AI Assistant automatically reviews deficiency notes and checks for missing or incomplete information before an inspection is submitted. It flags any potential issues for you to review and correct while still in the field.
Your inspection process remains the same until submission — at that point, you’ll submit the inspection to the AI Inspection Assistant for review, make any necessary updates, and then send it to the back office.

Start the Inspection
- You’ll begin your inspection and complete the questions just as you normally would. When an item fails, flag a deficiency and add a deficiency note describing the issue.
- You must have a data or a wifi connection to use the Inspection Assistant.

Using Enhanced Notes (Optional)
- When adding a note, you’ll now see an Enhanced Note option. This tool allows you to instantly refine your note using AI. Once the enhancement is ready, you can choose to: Accept, Retry, or Cancel.

Submit the Inspection to the Inspection Assistant
- You’ll see a new step: Send to Inspection Assistant for Review. This must be completed before submitting to the back office.
The Inspection Assistant step comes before submission to give the inspection a quick review while you’re still onsite. This helps you catch and correct any issues right away, reducing rework and avoiding the need to revisit the job later.

AI Review Begins
- You'll see a brief progress screen. The timing on this varies depending on the number of deficiency notes.
- Once complete, a summary of flagged items will appear.

Review & Resolve Issues
- Review each issue and edit accordingly - Accept, Ignore, Update and Edit.

Submit to the Office
- The inspection is now sent to the back office for final review.

Complete Corrections (If Applicable)
- If any corrections are requested by the office team, you’ll receive a notification and can address them right from your device.
