Syncing Offline Changes

When a technician makes updates while disconnected, the system preserves and synchronizes the data intelligently.

1. Maintains Data State

• Behavior: Only the most recent updates are retained.
• Purpose: Prevents outdated information from overwriting current data.

2. Automatic Dispatch Upon Reconnection

• Behavior: When reconnected, pending changes are automatically updated.
• Purpose: Restores answer sync with accurate data

Technician Presence Indicator

Technicians’ presence is displayed when user is in different views to foster collaboration and visibility, reducing the percentage of conflicting answers.

• Technician indicator is shown on listing screens, device details screen etc

• Clicking on the avatar (s) will open a modal displaying the list of technician(s) viewing the device.

• When another technician stops viewing the Device or connection is lost, the avatar will no longer be shown, which signifies to the current technician that no one else is viewing the device.
