Functionality Overview:
1. Real-Time Synchronization
Behavior: Device details and answers update live across the system, to the device and the office.
Purpose: Keeps all users, (technician and office) aligned with the latest state of the devices for the inspection.
2. Consistent Data Across Views
Behavior: Any updates reflect instantly and uniformly, from device to office.
Purpose: Eliminates data discrepancies between technicians and office.
3. Visual Change Highlights
Behavior: Updated attributes are briefly highlighted on screen.
Purpose: Helps technician immediately identify what changed if on line.
4. Offline Handling
Behavior: If the connection is lost, the sync refreshes with up-to-date data upon reconnection.
Purpose: Prevents users from working on stale or incorrect data, allowing all technicians to accurately understand the current state of the alarm devices on the inspection.
Ensures all changes made to alarm device data are reflected across all users’ views in real-time.

Device Addition:
- When a device is added by another technician or an office staff member, it is automatically reflected in the technician’s device list. No manual refresh is required.

Device Cloning:
- When a device is cloned, the number of devices opted to be cloned will be added to the bottom of the Device List on the iOS Device and in the Office. The tech or office user can then reposition if they see fit.

Device Positioning
- When devices are repositioned, whether by another technician or office staff member, the device positioning is automatically reflected for the technician.

Device Device Details
- When Device Details are edited or updated, whether by another technician or office staff member, the device details are automatically updated on the technicians device and in the office.

Alarm Device Answers:
- When a technician enters or updates answers for an alarm device, those answers are immediately displayed to all users—including other technicians and office.

Deficiency Reporting:
- Any deficiencies and deficiency details logged by one technician are instantly reflected, making them visible to the entire team in real time, technicians AND office users.

Inactive Devices:
- If a device is marked inactive by a technician, this change is synchronized across all users' views, both technician and office.
