๐ Attaching a PDF to an Inspection (Mobile App)
Technicians can attach PDF files to an inspection directly from the mobile app. These attachments will be included when the inspection is submitted and will print with the final inspection report.
Important Notes:
- Only PDF files can be attached.
- PDFs cannot be filled out within the app. If the technician needs to complete or annotate the PDF, this should be done using a PDF reader on their device before attaching it.
- Attachments added in the field will appear on the backend Inspection Detail screen, where office users can rename, remove, or adjust how the attachment prints.
๐ก Common Use Case
A technician receives a supplemental form from a customer via email, downloads it to their device, fills it out using a PDF reader app, and then attaches it to the inspection so it prints with the report.

- Tap OK to dismiss the message.
