From any screen, click this dropdown arrow in the upper right corner of the screen and select Edit Questions
>>>You will now see the Edit Question screen
Click Edit next to the inspection type you'd like to add the question and section to
>>>In this example we are going to add a new section and question to Systems/Assets
Click New System Question in the upper right of the screen
Click Add New Section (located below the Section Name dropdown)
>>>You’ll be brought to a new screen where you can enter new section details
Enter your new section name
>>>It's recommend the section name is added in ALL CAPS to remain consistent with the section names already available inside Inspect Point
Select a system OR an asset
>>>PLEASE NOTE: You can only select a System OR an Asset for the Section Type
Click Save when done
>>>You will now be redirected back to the question listing screen
Click this dropdown arrow again (in the upper right corner of the screen) and click Edit Questions
Click EditClick Edit next to the inspection type
Click New System Question in the upper right of the screen
Enter your question text and click the down arrow on the Section Name drop down to select the section name you just added
Select the question type from the dropdown
Select the System OR Asset you'd like this question tied to
>>>PLEASE NOTE: You can only select a System OR an Asset for the Section Type - not both
Select the question frequency
Click Save when done
After pressing Save you will be brought to "All Questions" screen. Here you can search for the question you just added, and/or continue to add questions to the new section by repeating the process outlined above (minus adding the custom section).
>>>REMEMBER you cannot add a question to a System AND an Asset. If you do, the System (i.e.Wet) takes priority, and the question will only be added to the system.
>>PLEASE NOTE that by default new questions are added to the report. To remove a question from the report click the Remove button and follow the instructions here
>>>PLEASE NOTE: In order for technicians to see these changes on their iPad, they will need to log-off and log back into the Inspect Point mobile app. If they are not connected to a data plan, they will need to log-off and log-on while connected to WiFi.
