From the building detail screen, click the Equipment tab
Click Mass Edit Equipment for Building
Open the attached spreadsheet (Equipment Mass Add Template). It is located at the bottom of this article.
Begin entering the information on the spreadsheet accordingly (The more information you can add - the better!)
>>> PLEASE NOTE:
- Address is not required
- Location is not required
- Name is not required
- Description is not required
- Barcode is not required
- Type must match the type you setup in the backend (how to add equipment types)
- Status (not required) must match the status setup in the backend (how to add equipment statuses)
- Notes is not required
- Internal notes is not required
- Last and next service date is not required
- Installed date is not required
- Quantity is not required
>>> At least one item must be entered per row in order to save correctly
When your spreadsheet is complete, click Add 10 Rows until you have enough rows equal to, or greater than, the fields on your spreadsheet
Highlight the rows and information you've added in your spreadsheet
Right click to Copy (Ctrl+C)
Navigate back to Inspect Point
Click on the Address box (internal ID will fill in automatically and is set by Inspect Point once saved)
Right-click to Paste (Ctrl+V)
>>> You will now see your information in the proper columns
Click Save Changes
>>> You will now see a pop-up
Click Back
>>> You will now be directed back to the Building Detail screen
Click the Equipment tab
You will now see the equipment information you copied and pasted
